As a Communication Systems Engineer, you will: • Provide remote maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for a WAN to include routers, bridges, switches, Video Teleconferencing and VoIP systems from a Help Desk. • Perform tests with multiple tech controls and implement scheduled upgrades to the network to include router configurations. This position is located in Landover, MD and has convenient Metro access. | ||
| Pay Rate | 22.96 per hour | ||
| Scheduled Hours | 40 per week | ||
| Additional Information | Minimum Qualifications: • A current, active TS/SCI w/CI poly is REQUIRED • 2 years experience performing network troubleshooting • Experienced with Trouble Ticket system (REMEDY preferred) • Experienced with CISCO routers and switches, communications link troubleshooting and circuit outages, CSU/DSU's and modems. • Knowledge of SUN Servers, RAID, UPS, Tape Drive and Macintosh clients a plus • Flexibility is needed to support a work schedule which may include 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts, including weekends.
