Job Title Sr. Network Design Engineer - TS/SCI Required
Description We are seeking a Network Design Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The Network Design Engineer will perform system level analysis, prepare technical designs and solutions, network setup, troubleshooting and debugging. To be considered for this position, a current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required. Roles and Responsibilities: • Provide remote and on-site LAN/WAN setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Conduct site surveys and prepare network installation plans. • Provide in-house network setup (Cisco routers and switches), design, and troubleshooting
Pay Rate 44.32 per hour
Scheduled Hours 40 per week
Additional Information Requirements: • BS in technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience • LAN/WAN Network Engineering experience installing, maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting network equipment including Cisco routers and switches • Experience in the design, configuration and testing of prototype network configurations • Must be skilled in the use of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSFP, BGP), understand QOS, be able to implement traffic policing and shaping on a LAN/WAN network and understand GRE tunneling. • Able to perform failure analysis and identify weaknesses in the fielded configurations. • Able to conduct systems requirements analysis, design trade-off studies and design enhancements. • Able to support rapid prototyping of hardware and network modifications • Able to provide peer review for system enhancements, changes, updates and suggested actions for compatibility with the deployed system and anticipated growth.
