| Description | SharePoint Engineer will be responsible for system engineering, server maintenance, and security policy implementation for Microsoft SharePoint Implementations. Our client is actively building a team of SharePoint experts and you will be on the ground floor of this new division. Our client is actively transitioning their MOSS 2007 to MOSS 2010. The engineer will perform the following roles: • Actively participate in the planning, design, and upgrade to Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Security and Operations/Configuration Management systems, infrastructure and related hardware for customers • Implement test plans, migration plans, and delivery plans • Network and application troubleshooting • Prepare design documents and presentations. Clearly describes the design, including rationale for decisions and implications of decisions • Deliver high-quality solutions to clients to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives • Deliver project responsibilities in line with project plans • Contribute to product development and written proposals • Provides technical consultation to other organizations; interacts with senior customer personnel and internal senior management • Work in a team environment | ||

| Additional Information | Required Skills and Abilities: • Experience administering and supporting MOSS 2007 at an enterprise level for 2+ years • SharePoint Designer and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 1.1 / 2.0 development experience • SQL Server 2005/2008 experience • Experience utilizing XSLT • Experience managing SharePoint Search Engine, integration with other search engines is desirable • Experience with MOSS 2007 Configuration Including ACL Management • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Network and Security Principles • Experience working with end users (technical and non-technical) in defining requirements • Ability to communicate with diverse customer communities • Strong task and time management experience, demonstrated the ability to determine and deploy resources to achieve goals on time and in the most efficient and cost-effective way • Ability to excel with minimal direct supervision • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills | ||
