Put your technical expertise and writing skills to work for you! Senior Technical Writer needed with strong attention to detail. Will be developing and maintaining technical documentation in a coordinated team management environment involving all the activities within the OTECH-Maryland Departments, including interactions with managers, and engineering staff in all departments. This position requires experience with the preparation and review of technical material for publication in both paper and electronic formats.
Selected candidate will work under minimal supervision and be responsible for developing and delivering a variety of technical manuals, including: Maintenance, Operation, Troubleshooting and Training. They will also prepare Maintenance Repair Cards and Maintenance Standards for engineering projects. Successful candidates will have a strong background and knowledge of Microsoft Office, subsea hardware, software, electronic controls, displays and onboard tests at the organizational and intermediate maintenance levels. It is necessary for candidate to be familiar with government publication standards for specifications and manuals as well as be able to obtain a DoD TS security clearance. |
