Job Title Senior Chief Estimator
Description Our client, a heavy highway, bridge and utility construction services firm, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead their estimating efforts for both public and private sector bid proposals. Proposals are heavy highway / heavy civil with dollar values at $100M+. The Senior Estimator will: * Lead estimating team to ensure accurate and on-time submission of proposals. * Work effectively with internal staff, subcontractors, vendor and client representatives * Analysis and mitigate project risk * Assist in the development of bid strategies * Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required content of estimates
Salary Range $90,000.00 to $110,000.00

Additional Information Minimum Requirements: * 4 year engineering degree or equivalent combination technical training and/or related professional experience. * 10+ years experience estimating heavy highway and heavy/civil construction projects * Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques, all engineering disciplines, cost control systems and accounts required. * Extensive knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts required. * Excellent organizational, supervisory and decision making/problem solving skills. * Strong proficiency with HCSS and Primavera From commercial and private ventures to government initiatives, RealStreet Staffing professionals provide a solid foundation for the success of clients in the Metro DC / Baltimore area, and throughout the continental US.
